Cet album enregistré en France est en fait le premier album de Booker T. Laury (il a 65 ans). Il est produit par Dominique Buscail et Claude Bleses. Booker délivre un bon set de piano blues classique accompagné par un groupe sympathique avec notamment Mickey Baker à la guitare et Sugar Blue à l'harmonica. La version CD du label EPM ajoute quatre titres supplémentaires (dont un titre capturé sur une scène parisienne).
This album recorded in France is in fact the first album of Booker T. Laury (he is 65 years old). It is produced by Dominique Buscail and Claude Bleses. Booker delivers a good set of classic blues piano accompanied by a nice backing band including Mickey Baker on guitar and Sugar Blue on harmonica. The CD version proposed by the EPM label adds four additional titles (including a title captured on a parisian stage).

This is his only american album. Booker T. Laury recorded this album at age 79 under the supervision of producer Ron Levy. He plays his usual tracks in his traditional barrelhouse style and his strong voice.
