Pour le label Melodia, Cool Papa enregistre avec son groupe The Mellotones deux titres dont l'excellent "Bald headed woman" et "You can't take it out of this world" (chanté par Herman Odom).

On peut retenir dans cette set-list parfois bancale : "Draw in your lips", "Hard times", "What I have done", "I had a woman".

This album recorded for the label T.J. Records - produced by Tom Boyd - is his only real studio album. A raw and tasty blues album dominated by the rough vocals and superb guitar of Cool Papa. Behind him are Kenney Herrera (saxophone), Big Bob Deance (guitar), Connell Page (bass) and Sam Myers (drums). We can point out in this sometimes wobbly set-list : "Draw in your lips", "Hard times", "What I have done", "I had a woman".
