SUNNYLAND SLIM AND HIS PALS

JSP

June 1947 - 1955

Accompagné du superbe guitariste Lonnie Johnson, Slim grave notamment "Brownskin woman", "My heavy load". Puis, il travaille aussi pour Opera 5 ("Train time"), Apollo ("Hard time"), Mercury ("Hit the road again"), Sunny ("Back to Korea blues" avec l'harmonica de Snooky Pryor), Regal ("Orphan boy blues"), Club 51 ("Sad and lonesome").

Il s'agit donc d'un solide programme de Chicago Blues avec des titres intéressants : "You used to love me", "Give you all my money", "I feel so bad", "Never picked no cotton".
