Association de Terry "Big T" Williams (guitare) et du vétéran Wesley "Junebug" Jefferson (basse), deux bluesmen du Mississippi profond. Les deux hommes délivrent, dans un style minimaliste mais prenant, une tranche de blues brut et très émotionnel. On retient notamment "Pocketful of money", "Incarcerated blues", "The wreck", "Let's go down to Red's" et les reprises de "Catfish blues" et "Can't be satisfied". L'album est produit par Jeff Konkel pour le label Broke & Hungry.

Association of Terry "Big T" Williams (guitar) and veteran Wesley "Junebug" Jefferson (bass), two bluesmen from deep Mississippi. The two men deliver, in a minimalist but catchy style, a slice of raw and very emotional blues. Dans la lignée d'un Big Jack Johnson, Terry "Big T" Williams s'impose comme un excellent représentant du Delta Blues électrique. Son blues terrien et excitant (qu'il mixe avec des intonations Soul parfois) mérite vraiment l'écoute. On apprécie notamment les superbes "The night doctor", "Booty wild", "How I got the blues", la reprise de "Change must come" et "Riverside hotel".

In line with Big Jack Johnson, Terry "Big T" Williams stands out as an excellent representative of electric Delta Blues. His down-home and exciting blues (which he mixes with Soul intonations sometimes) really worth listening to. We particularly appreciate the superb "The night doctor", "Booty wild", "How I got the blues", the cover of "Change must come" and "Riverside hotel".
